"Dead Haunted Nights makes for one of the most interesting nights out you could ever have. My group discovered DHN by pure accident one night and haven't looked back since. Our first investigation was back in December last year and we enjoyed it so much that we are already booking up for this year too. The crew at DHN and not forgetting Phil himself are fantastic hosts and offer a valuable insight into the world of the paranormal for all those with burning questions and the desire to experience the realms of the unexplained for themselves. With a wide range of paranormally active locations on offer we haven't found anyone else who can match DHN in all it has to offer. Not only is it a great night out, it's also the chance to meet like minded people and form some great friendships along the way...
Location:- The Golden Fleece in York.
Date:- 15th December 2006.
This investigation was the second one I had attended but was the first for my best mate...who unbeknown to her would experience the fright of her life later in the evening. The Golden Fleece lies in the very atmospheric county of York and one of the nights highlights was the guided ghost walk around the cobbled streets whilst being told of the towns history and it's ghostly residents. Inside the Fleece was even better. Having Phil and the DHN crew with us and being able to split into goups so that we can experience every area within was fantastic......every room has a history and the DHN guys are well clued up on it too so don't be afraid to ask questions. The opportunities to take part in vigils is brilliant and it was on one of the vigils that my mate got her first big scare.....upon sitting in the front bar with our small group....we just chatted about regular things, we did this because it was reputed that the bar had never been very active....well how wrong could we have been.....an almighty smack was heard beside the chairs that were located by the front window. My mate was sitting three chairs away and i had never seen so many people move so fast...everyone made a run for it. We also noticed that the curtains on the front window had been moved and when we later inspected the chair it was broken at the top. We enquired to the landlady as to whether the chair was broken in the first place and she said as far as she knew...it wasn't.....spooky.......all in all the Fleece was a fantastic night and will be well remembered.....if it appears on the evens again i would reccommend that everyone take a peek into Yorks spookiest pub or even better......just attend an investigation, any investigation." |
